Lin Xiaoman is reborn. In her previous life, she was killed by the murderer while investigating a serial dismemberment case, and witnessed her forensic sister Lin Wantang die saving her. Back on her first day at work, she reopens the case and actively gets closer to her sister—hot porridge during overtime, ointment for injuries, secret protection when tailing suspects. The sister's coldness is just a facade; tenderness has long been hidden in the details. But as the case deepens, the victims are linked to her sister's missing childhood playmate, and the murderer's target is the trafficker who abducted her sister two decades ago! Amid the bitterness of solving crimes lies the sweetness from her sister; and the truth of the case points to the pain her sister has hidden for twenty years. When they take down the criminal den, Xiaoman cries, "Sis, I'll never let you die again," but her sister smiles and wipes her tears: "This time, let me stay with you and turn bitterness into sweetness."
