Seven-year-old Lin Xiaotang is a reincarnated ancient medical sage—killed in his previous life for exposing a medical sect conspiracy, he returns to his mother with his inheritance, only to find his grandma’s pharmacy seized by the wealthy Xie family and his mom framed for an “incurable disease.” When Xiaotang uses his chubby hands to give grandma acupuncture, a white-bearded man bursts in, calling him “great-grand-disciple”—it’s his former master, a thousand-year-hidden medical ancestor! The pair teams up: breaking the Xie’s “curse” with silver needles, curing mom’s “fake illness” with candy-like pills, and Xiaotang’s “little cutie” act to dig up the Xie’s property-grabbing evidence. But as they investigate, Xiaotang finds his past-life killer has reincarnated as the Xie’s young master… It’s full of the satisfaction of a cute kid standing up to villains, the warmth of a master-disciple bond turned “grandparent-grandchild” love, and the suspense of intertwined past and present lives.
