Lin Chuan, the last heir of Qianmen (a legendary school of con artistry), was exiled for refusing to scam the innocent. He scrapes by running a shabby convenience store in an old neighborhood until his old brother Chen Mo arrives—Wang Kun, the real estate tycoon who framed Qianmen years ago, is now forcing a demolition and fabricating evidence to label Qianmen as "crooks," leaving residents homeless. To protect his neighbors and clear Qianmen's name, Lin revives his Qianmen tactics and teams up with Chen Mo: exposing fake demolition agreements, uncovering embezzlement, and humiliating the arrogant Wang. They rediscover Qianmen's original mission—upholding justice. Meanwhile, Su Xiao, a neighbor who once called him a "liar," finally understands his "con tricks" are for good, and their relationship blooms.
