In high school, Lin Xiaoman hid her crush on deskmate Chen Mo in the plane tree hole of Qingqian North Alley—he was the boy in the white shirt who always picked up her homework, the "little tail" who secretly left ginger tea when she was sick. But the day before the college entrance exam, Chen Mo suddenly disappeared without even a "goodbye." Ten years later, Xiaoman, now an advertising planner, takes on an old alley renovation project, only to reunite with Chen Mo at an old bookstore in Qingqian North Alley—he’s become a heritage architect insisting on "keeping every brick in the alley," and he says to her with red eyes: "I came back to return the unsaid words to the plane tree." The confrontation at work, the unfinished memories, and the notebook full of Xiaoman’s name that Chen Mo hid in his moving box back then—all are asking: Can this ten-year-late crush find their "to be continued" north of Qingqian?
