Su Yao, an ancient architecture restorer, travels alone to the city to negotiate with real estate tycoon Gu Jingchuan to protect the century-old ancestral hall of Qingshan Village. At their first meeting, Gu falls in love with this girl whose eyes hold the mist of green hills.
