Su Xiao, a top investment banker, hires Lin Shen as a "full-time househusband" to take care of her seriously ill mother. Lin Shen excels at housework and caring for the elderly, but becomes the laughingstock of Su Xiao's social circle—her best friend calls him a "kept man," and her rivals mock her for "failing to keep a real man despite her success." When Su Xiao is framed in a project and faces bankruptcy, Lin Shen suddenly pulls out mysterious share certificates and turns the tide effortlessly. It turns out this "kept man" is the legendary "Dark Emperor" of the finance world who retired three years ago. He gave up his peak career just to save Su Xiao's mother... When the "househusband" reveals his hidden identity after three years, those who once mocked him will pay for their arrogance.
