This micro-drama follows a group of ordinary urban dwellers: new office worker Lin Xiao who rents a shared flat, an elderly couple running a traditional sugar water stall on the old street, and single mom A Mei who just got divorced. Each of them is trapped in their own predicaments—workplace burnout, family trivialities and emotional confusion. A community neighborhood market brings them together by chance. Starting off as awkward strangers, they gradually lend each other a hand: Lin Xiao gets help with a tough client, the elderly couple takes care of A Mei’s daughter after school. Amidst the daily hustle and bustle, these strangers grow close and find their own warm little reunion in the mundane warmth of everyday city life.
