The three-and-a-half-year-old adorable baby Lai Lai, doted on by all, is taunted by her relatives at the family reunion banquet for being "from the countryside". But when she picks up the old, polished pipa, the sharp and melodious tune of *Ambush from All Sides* flows out of her tiny hands, stunning everyone. This scene is witnessed by An Xiaxia, a talented blind musician. The child's pure pipa spirit touches his frozen heart. After An Xiaxia regains his sight unexpectedly, he immediately follows the pipa sound to find Lai Lai, insisting on being her apprentice, determined to inherit this rare pipa charm. The cross-age master-disciple bond kicks off.
