City journalist Lin Wei ventures into the isolated Misty Village to find her missing colleague, only to discover nightly replays of chilling events: shifting graves, a spectral bride in red wandering at midnight, and children's songs echoing from wells. The villagers' evasive silence hides a bloody ancient ritual. As Lin Wei realizes these supernatural occurrences are linked to her family heirloom jade pendant, the century-old truth about mountain spirits consuming humans reveals a shocking connection to her own mother who vanished twenty years ago.
