When returning girl Su Xiao comes to the remote Qingshi Village to handle her grandfather's funeral, she accidentally finds an ancient bronze mirror in the attic. Staring at the mirror reveals fragmented eerie clips: first the vague figure of her brother who vanished five years ago, then villagers who encounter the "mirror phantoms" suffer misfortune one after another. The village elders beg her to stay away from the mirror, but Su Xiao insists on staying to uncover the truth behind her grandfather's strange death and brother's disappearance. Every time she looks into the mirror, reversals unfold one after another, until the finale reveals the century-old secret of Qingshi Village and the dusty murder case hidden in the mirror.
