Su Wan, a newly unemployed designer, gets a call from a stranger one day—turns out it’s Shao Siyan, CEO of the prestigious Shao Group in Beijing. He says he adopted a little boy named Shao Xiaotang from the police station, and the kid pointed at Su Wan’s photo and yelled “Mom.” Su Wan thinks it’s a scam until she sees her lost necklace from three years ago in Xiaotang’s arms.
