Lin Xiaoman, 30, is a "perfect housewife" in others' eyes, but she's become an "invisible person" under her mother-in-law's nitpicking and husband's neglect—until she finds her late mother's note in her college design sketches: "Xiaoman, your eyes should always shine." Suddenly, the cracks buried by time split open: she was once a promising designer with a silver award, gave up her dream for her family, and was left speechless when her daughter asked, "What's Mom's dream?" When she secretly restarts her career and is scolded as "irresponsible," when her husband says, "You weren't like this before," Lin Xiaoman finally snaps: "The old me was 'killed' by all of you!" She mends time's cracks not to go back, but to reclaim herself. From taking private orders to winning an industry award, from being dismissed to making her husband "see" her, Lin Xiaoman smashes the myth of "housewife sacrifice" with a self-rebellion, healing her unbalanced family through understanding.
