Lin Wan, a down-and-out brocade designer, has to bow to Gu Jingchuan—the ruthless CEO acquiring her old street—to save her grandma’s weaving workshop. Gu, cold on the surface, has long noticed the pattern in Lin’s designs—exactly the “memory thread” his mother murmured about before passing away, as his mother was once a regular at the workshop. When business acquisition collides with intangible cultural heritage preservation, and a cold CEO meets a stubborn girl, they go from confrontational rivals to partners, picking threads, matching colors, and repairing old looms. Every click of the weaving machine weaves the regrets of the past into their sweet love story: turns out the warmest love is weaving the warmth of “yesterday” into every inch of “tomorrow” with you.
