The honest vendor who has run a wonton shop for fifteen years is suddenly framed and boycotted by all fellow shopkeepers in the street, pushing his business to the brink of collapse. Just as he is disheartened, he digs out dusty ironclad evidence—videos proving the black-hearted competitors have long swapped ingredients and engaged in malicious competition. At a public showdown, he exposes their conspiracy, revealing the whole street’s betrayal is a plot to seize his shop. With the support of the girl he likes, the vendor successfully rises against the odds, bringing the black competitors to disgrace, saving his old shop, gaining true love, and showing the good and evil of human nature hidden in a bowl of wontons.
