Debt-stricken Su Xiaotang pretends to be the "candy savior" of CEO Gu Jingshen's childhood to save her critically ill brother. She plans to take the money and leave, but Gu turns the tables—he pays off her debts and keeps her by his side as his assistant, claiming to "repay the favor." Just as Su panics about her lie being exposed, Gu pulls out a 15-year-old candy wrapper and smiles: "I've been looking for the little girl who gave me candy and ran away for half my life." It turns out he recognized her long ago—all those "schemes" were just ways to keep the glowing little candy he'd always loved close. What starts as a lie-driven deal becomes a long-planned sweet trap, and with Gu's support, Su逆袭s from a part-timer to a designer, finally becoming her own "candy."
