Lin Mo, a zookeeper, is reborn as an endangered golden monkey after an accident. He initially wants to laze around in the zoo as a "slacker monkey", even too lazy to grab bananas, but gets involved in a rare animal theft case and is hunted by zoo security, forcing him to flee. During the escape, he accidentally activates his golden monkey's special bloodline—his intelligence surges, and he unlocks super abilities like enhanced climbing and perception. From a hunted weak "little monkey" to a dominant "forest elf", he meets a mysterious female researcher, dodges pursuers and uncovers the secret of his rebirth, embarking on an adventurous journey full of counterattacks and twists.
