Tao Yao, the lowest-ranked disciple on Peach Blossom Peak, is forced to do menial labor by her fellow disciples, and even her master Luo Yunshen treats her with icy indifference. A cliff fall triggers an ancient peach blossom seal, restoring her memory—she is the Ancient Peach Blossom God, whose divine power was stolen by Luo Yunshen via a devious scheme. Reborn, she stops enduring silently: using peach blossom magic, she exposes Luo Yunshen's selfish calculations behind his "Immortal Master" facade, retaliates against the senior sister who once bullied her, and reunites with Ye Wushang, the Demon Lord who secretly protected her—revealing their past life as lovers. As the truth unfolds, Tao Yao seeks more than just reclaiming her power; she wants those who hurt her to taste the humiliation of being打脸 (slapped in the face).
