Su Wan, a top ancient painting restorer, catches "the company's pampered intern" Lin Xiaotang deliberately destroying a century-old painting—her late mother's final restoration work—on her first day at a new firm. Lin, who claims to be President Lu Jingshen's cousin, accuses Su of "jealousy and sabotage" and forces her to take the blame by repairing the painting. But Su, knowing the damage is irreversible (and the painting holds her mother's legacy), refuses outright. Lin then escalates: spreading rumors about Su's "fake skills," tampering with her tools, and even destroying her mother's relics. However, Su stands firm—using her expertise to uncover Lin's crimes and, in the process, unearths the truth about her mother's wrongful dismissal years ago. When Lu finally sees Lin for the manipulative imposter she is (she's not his cousin at all), he sides with Su completely. Lin's power crumbles, Su clears her name, reopens her mother's restoration studio, and finds love with Lu. In the end, she proves that integrity and skill always triumph over favoritism—delivering a resounding slap to everyone who doubted her.
