Lin Xiaoman, an ordinary worker, is driven to despair by her mother's uremia medical bills. She accidentally awakens her "money-making right hand"—any item she touches turns into cash instantly: an instant noodle bucket becomes a silver ingot, a broken glass turns into a diamond. But every use erases a piece of her mother's memory of her. When she earns enough for a kidney transplant, her mother asks, "Who are you?" Then, a half-old paper falls from her grandmother's jade bracelet: this ability is a family "trial"—trade greed for wealth, trade family love for shortcuts. The key to breaking the cost is to "use the ability to fulfill ten people's wishes." Lin Xiaoman uses her right hand to make quick money for her mother's treatment while secretly helping neighbors find lost children and an unemployed chef reopen his small restaurant. Until the last time she helps an old man restore old photos, her mother suddenly holds her hand and says: "Xiaoman, the porridge is ready."
