Lin Chuan, once a genius young criminal investigator, was framed for "malpractice" in the "11·23 Wrongful Case"—falling from a police prodigy to a "street rat". He went incognito as a "useless local policeman" in a suburban police station. Five years later, a series of murders replicated the old modus operandi. The victim's family knelt before him with an urn: "Only you can give my brother justice!" Meanwhile, his former superior, who once ruined him, actually invited him to be a "criminal investigation consultant"—a trap or a chance? Hiding his past passion, Lin Chuan used the persona of a "useless cop who can't even write a statement" to confuse enemies, while secretly investigating as a "mysterious consultant codenamed 'Youth'": cracking falsified evidence from years ago, slapping down former colleagues who backstabbed him, humiliating his betraying ex-girlfriend, and closing in on the mastermind behind the old case. When the killer pointed a knife at him, Lin Chuan took out his dusty police ID and smiled: "You think I've changed? No—I'm still that teenager who wanted to solve every case to the end. Only now, I'll make all villains pay for their crimes."
