She accidentally travels back to that era and becomes her mother's high school classmate, where her mom was a non-mainstream rebellious teen with an afro. Lin Wei plans to change the past to save her mother using future memories, but is forcibly targeted by Gu Yan, a paranoid young master from a wealthy local family who insists she's his destined one, forcing her into captivity.
