Sixteen-year-old rural girl Lin Xiaoman's midsummer brightened with the arrival of volunteer teacher Zhou Mingyuan—he drew dandelions on the field ridge for her in a sketchbook, taught her to recognize Vega in the star map, yet only left an unfinished sketchbook when he returned to the city at the end of his term. Ten years later, Xiaoman became an art teacher in the town and unexpectedly ran into Mingyuan, who was filming a rural documentary, under the old locust tree at the village entrance. His eyes still held the same panic as back then when he looked at her. And on the last page of Xiaoman's worn-out old sketchbook, Mingyuan's unsaid words finally emerged: "I was afraid that if I spoke up, even watching the summer wind with you would be a luxury." It turns out secret love was never a one-man show. This summer, they will return "I like you" to their 16-year-old selves.
