In the Great Liang Dynasty, mysterious demon cases occurred frequently. Su Ling, a down-and-out demon hunter regarded as a freak by the world, met Lin Yan, an upright patrol constable, while investigating the ancient 'Bone Demon Case'. The two joined forces to unravel clues, only to find all cases related to Su Ling's hidden background—he was an exile from the demon world, and a senior court official was the demon's undercover agent.
