Lin Xiaoman, a little-known voice actress, takes a part-time job at a late-night supernatural radio show to raise money for her mother’s surgery. During a live broadcast, she receives a distress call from Gu Jingshen, a business tycoon trapped in the mountains after a car accident—his old phone only has her audition recording left. They hold on until rescue with her voice, and Gu becomes her “voice backer”: he helps her regain the big IP role stolen by her cheating ex-boyfriend and hypocritical best friend, and uncovers the truth about her mother’s cyberbullying due to a “voice misunderstanding” years ago. When Lin wins the Golden Voice Award with her healing voice, her ex begs for reconciliation. She smiles and plays the voice evidence of his infidelity, which goes viral in a live broadcast. Gu then proposes with a custom “voice necklace”: “I don’t love your voice—I love the you who says ‘I do’ with it.”
