Lin Chen, a modern engineer, accidentally time-travels to the wild Stone Age and is captured by a primitive small tribe on the verge of extinction. Rejected by most tribesmen for his strange behaviors, only Aya, the brave daughter of the tribal leader, shows curiosity and trust in him. Struggling to survive, Lin Chen uses modern knowledge to improve stone tools, domesticate livestock and build defenses, solving the tribe's survival crises. He teams up with Aya to resist foreign invasions, leading the tribe to become a powerful force in the Stone Age and becoming its respected new lord. The two also develop deep feelings while fighting side by side, writing a story of counterattack, growth and cross-era love.
