Li Erniu, a country boy, learned Chinese medicine from his grandfather since childhood but was mocked as a "half-baked doctor" by villagers for using "rustic remedies". Until a strange illness broke out in the village—patients vomited, had diarrhea, and developed rashes, leaving the county hospital helpless. In desperation, Li took out his grandfather's "Incomplete Volume of Green Bag" hidden before his death, curing the first patient with acupuncture and wild herbs. However, Zhou Hao, the owner of a county clinic, framed him for "illegal practice". At the critical moment, an old TCM professor once saved by Li's grandfather appeared with his grandfather's national TCM master certificate, revealing that his grandfather had lived incognito to avoid inheritance disputes. After awakening, Li not only cured Zhou's mother's chronic rheumatism with acupuncture to resolve conflicts but also launched a rural TCM clinic, reviving the age-old medical heritage in his hometown.
