Lin Chuan, an intern doctor in the county, was fired for insisting on using acupuncture to treat severe illnesses. Returning to his ancient hometown village, he finds villagers suffering from a mysterious disease caused by contaminated vegetables—Western medicine is useless. In despair, he opens his grandfather's "Qihuang Secret Record" and unexpectedly awakens the lost "Qi Acupuncture" technique—able to channel qi into needles and bring the dying back to life! But the village doctor, colluding with drug dealers, slanders him as a "charlatan" and even tries to burn his medical books. Lin Chuan must prove himself with his skills: not only to save the whole village but also to uncover the truth about his grandfather's sudden disappearance years ago...
