Before Lin Xiaoman's grandpa passed away, he left an old wooden box carved with runes, repeatedly warning, "Don't touch the wish paper inside." But Xiaoman's dad (eager for a promotion), mom (desperate to recover losses), and Xiaoman herself (just dumped by her boyfriend) couldn't resist sneaking wishes—amazingly, all came true the next day! Dad became the vice president, mom made a million, and her boyfriend begged for reconciliation. But soon, nightmares struck: Dad's new role was a scapegoat, mom's money was counterfeit from selling grandpa's relics, and her boyfriend acted like a "puppet" who only spoke sweet nothings. They then discovered the "wish spirit" in the box was a "greed ghost" grandpa sealed years ago—each wish took away their most precious things! The family panicked, and the secret in grandpa's suicide note held a reversed redemption—turns out grandpa's "forbiddance" was his gentle protection with his life.
