Lin Shen, the young heir of "The Cursed Pawnshop", finds a blood-written message from his missing father: "When the Five Elements Evils gather, the seal shall break." To uncover the truth, he’s forced to handle transactions of cursed items burdened with obsessions—a wooden hairpin that revisits regrets, a golden abacus that steals fortune, a jade bracelet hiding a dead wife’s soul... Each deal reveals human greed, anger, and delusion. As the Five Elements Evils are collected, Lin discovers his father’s disappearance ties to a 20-year-old metaphysical secret of sealing an evil spirit. Worse still, he’s long been the key pawn in the spirit’s resurrection.
