The estrangement between the Zhou brothers began at fifteen—elder brother Zhou Mingyuan gave up his recommendation to a top university to take over their father's auto repair shop, only to be misunderstood by younger brother Zhou Mingxuan as “stealing the family's resources”. Zhou Mingxuan left in anger and returned a decade later, filled with resentment, determined to fight for the old house left by their father. But when he stumbles upon their late mother's diary, he uncovers the most painful secret behind his brother's “sacrifice”: their mother was in the final stage of cancer back then, and Mingyuan had given up his future just to stay with her during her last days... A family redemption story about “misunderstanding” and “devotion” unfolds slowly under the eaves of the old house. Can the brothers retrieve the fraternal bond they lost for ten years?
