In the late 1980s, Su Wan, framed and kicked out by her ex-husband's family, made a living by selling goods on the street with her 5-year-old cute son Xiaotuanzi. One rainy night, she accidentally saved Gu Beiting, a comatose military staff officer. To repay her kindness, Gu stayed as a "tenant", helping Su fend off ruffians and teach her clothing business, gradually moved by her resilience. When Su's clothing factory just took off, her ex-husband came to extort money out of jealousy——Gu suddenly took out a military investigation order, exposed his embezzlement, and sent him to prison on the spot! Just as Su thought the "temporary company" was over, Gu pulled out two train tickets to Beijing: "I made a wish on the battlefield to marry a woman who could make me take off my armor. Now I've found her——come with me, I promise you and our son a lifetime of glory."
