Five-and-a-half-year-old Su Ruanruan is the last descendant of the Xuanmen (a Taoist school). She has practiced with her master on Zhongnan Mountain for ten years. One day, Grandma Su knelt at the mountain gate with three sticks of incense— the Su family had recently faced a string of misfortunes: car accidents, bankruptcy, and serious illnesses. A master said only Ruanruan, the "Blessing Source Body," could化解 (resolve) them. Ruanruan, with a chubby face, was taken back to the wealthy Su family, but her aunt called her a "wild girl" and her cousin broke her peach wood token. However, no one expected this little toddler could make Grandma's headache vanish instantly by pinching a peace amulet and saying, "Blessings come"; touch her cousin's dress to shatter the gu (voodoo) planted by a mistress; or even stand downstairs of the Su family's company to make the plummeting stock price rebound to the daily limit. Those who once looked down on her now scramble to get close to her for blessings— and Ruanruan has only one small request: "Grandma, buy me a strawberry cake with double-scoop ice cream!"
