Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, dies from overtime and accidentally binds to the "Merit for Life Extension System". Reborn as an unknown metaphysical streamer, she must accumulate 1000 merit points by solving netizens' supernatural problems to stay alive. At first, she fakes metaphysical tricks to gain followers—until she meets Gu Yan, an investment banker haunted by a vengeful spirit. After helping him dispel the obsession, her live stream goes viral, but harder tasks follow: a ghost child crying for her mom in a school, a greedy developer's "evil energy nourishing array", and even Gu Yan gets tangled in a 20-year-old feng shui revenge case. Between the system's pressure and approaching danger, Lin discovers unspoken obsessions behind every "supernatural event"—and while chasing merit, Gu Yan quietly becomes the one she can't bear to lose.
