In the last years of the Great Wilderness, famine sweeps through tribes, leaving members on the brink of extinction. Young girl Han Zhi, reborn with past-life memories, enters the troubled world wearing only a straw coat. She develops improved farm tools and ingenious wild fruit cultivation methods to fight objections from conservative elders. Meanwhile, she meets Lin, an honest tribal warrior, and they work together to guard the tribe's only vitality. When everyone believes the tribe will perish, can she take the straw coat as a clue to build civilization's embryo on famine ruins? Can this orphan and the warrior's joint counterattack really rewrite the entire tribe's fate?
