Lin Mo, heir to a reclusive medical clan, descends the mountain to fulfill his master's last wish—investigating the truth behind his family's massacre—carrying the lost "Green Bag Secret Manual" to the capital. Upon arrival, he is rejected by his fiancée's Su family, and Zhou Yang, son of the Capital Medical Association's president, schemes against him out of jealousy to ruin his reputation. Lin Mo saves Su Wanqing, the Su family's youngest daughter, from drowning with divine acupuncture, cures the general's wife's chronic illness with a secret recipe, and gradually uncovers the collusion between the Zhou and Su families in the massacre. While humiliating hypocritical doctors with his skills, he develops feelings for Su Wanqing, who always trusts him. In the end, he vindicates his family, becomes the revered "Medical Sage" of the capital, and revives his clan's medical legacy.
