During the Republic of China era, Ming, a poor young man from a remote village, gave his only bowl of hot porridge to a frozen mysterious woman in the harsh winter, taking it as an ordinary good deed without much thought. Unexpectedly, the woman turned out to be the successor of a reclusive noble family. Years later, she returned to the village as a wealthy businesswoman, not only fulfilling her old promise to help Ming rise from poverty but also providing resources to build roads and factories, lifting the entire village out of poverty and ushering in a bright future.
