Lin Xiaoman, a "fish-selling girl" raised in the fish market, just lost her office job and was mocked by her ex-boyfriend for "not fitting into urban life," forcing her to return to her family's fish pit stall. One day, a drunk man named Gu Shen—known as the "Cold-Faced Yama" in investment banking—stumbled into her stall. He'd been framed in a family inheritance battle and was hiding in the fish market to find key evidence. At first, they clashed: Lin thought he was a "rich kid faking poverty," while Gu found her "too grassroots." But as they spent time together, Lin's sharpness in understanding fish helped him unravel his opponent's muddy business scheme; Gu's tenderness beneath his cold exterior helped Lin regain her crushed "urban dream." When the old wooden sign of the fish pit held Gu's long-sought secret, and when Lin used her stall's "win with freshness" philosophy to help him turn the tide, they realized: a true counterattack isn't about becoming "high-class" in others' eyes—it's about finding someone who can shine with you in life's ordinary fireworks.
