Lin Xiaoman, an invisible intern at an advertising company, hits rock bottom when her boss steals her ideas and her boyfriend cheats on her with her best friend. By chance, she finds an old box left by her grandmother, containing a jade pendant carved with "The Fruit of Desire". The moment the jade touches her skin, she gains the ability to see others' "desire projections"—vines of greed in her boss's eyes wanting to devour her work, thorns of jealousy in her best friend's smile ready to drag her down, and even a white rose of protection in the heart of Gu Zhao, the cold stranger she meets on the subway. Using this power, Lin fights back against her tormentors, only to discover Gu Zhao is the "inheritance guardian" of the jade. The truth of "The Fruit of Desire" is more than mind-reading—it's a test, a key to see the true heart behind desire. As career counterattack and mysterious inheritance intertwine, can Lin Xiaoman hold onto her original heart in the maze of desire?
