Lin Wan is a special repairer who can enter others' "memory clouds". One day, she takes on the commission of wealthy businessman Gu Yueshan's "death memory", only to find that the deceased is the father of her ex-boyfriend Gu Jingshen. During the investigation, she discovers from the memory cloud the secret of Gu Yueshan's fake death—he aimed to expose his stepmother who embezzled the family property; and Gu Jingshen reconnected with her merely to use her ability to take down the stepmother. When Lin Wan uncovers the stepmother's plot to transfer assets, she accidentally finds that there's an even deeper scheme behind Gu Yueshan's "fake death"... She not only uses the evidence in the memory cloud to bring the villain to justice but also rediscovers her own life's answer amid the pain of her ex-love's betrayal.
