In 1970, Lin Xiaotang, a village beauty, marries Zhou Jianjun, a quiet hunter, only to face her mother-in-law’s pressure to have kids, her sister-in-law’s food theft, and even no money to buy a pencil for her brother. But one day, while cooking, her stove suddenly glows blue—connecting her to a 2024 community supermarket! She trades rough cloth for detergent, dried wild vegetables for flashlights, and sells these “future goods” in town, making a fortune. Just as life gets better, a village bully demands her “supply source,” her mother-in-law finds her hidden chocolate and accuses her of “infidelity,” and the supermarket owner sends a red warning: “If you trade antiques for modern items again, the channel will close forever!” Lin must guard the stove’s secret, lift her family out of poverty, and fend off schemes—can she stay true to herself while rising from a poor village girl to a wealthy woman?
