Lin Wan, a top lawyer renowned as the "zero-loss legend" in the legal world, has her life upended by a decade-old "environmental engineer suicide case"—the victim is her long-missing sister, Lin Zhao. Determined to uncover the truth, she confronts her ex-lover Gu Chuan, now a lawyer defending corporate interests, in court. She battles his professional prowess while resisting threats from shadowy forces: bribes to "back off", fake evidence framing her sister for bribery, and smears that label her "win streak" as a "publicity stunt". When Gu Chuan unexpectedly betrays his clients to present crucial proof, and when Lin Zhao's diary reveals blood-stained words—"I'm onto them"—Lin Wan realizes this "journey to find her sister" is actually her unshaken test of original intention: to make justice outpace lies.
