Urban office worker Lin Xiaoman loses her job and gets dumped, hitting rock bottom. She picks up a stray dog named A Fu with a leg injury and plans to take care of it temporarily. But A Fu becomes her "healing anchor" with its thoughtful gestures—biting her shoelaces to wake her up in the morning, fetching warm milk from the fridge at night, and waiting for her at the alley for two hours when she works late. Just as Xiaoman regains hope for life, A Fu’s original owner appears: a retired teacher on the verge of total blindness, and A Fu is his three-year-trained guide dog. Torn between the "family" that warms her heart and the visually impaired elder who needs A Fu more, Xiaoman has to make the most painful choice—who does her "little sun" truly belong to?
