Down-and-out programmer Lin Chuan raises his 5-year-old daughter Xiaoman alone. One day, his phone suddenly binds to the "Immortal Realm Live Stream System"—the vegetables he grows and porridge he cooks in the countryside can actually be watched and rewarded by immortals, exchanging for spiritual spring water, fertile soil, and other immortal items. With these, Lin Chuan's farm yields bumper crops, and he helps villagers solve plant diseases, gradually turning his life around. But then, his ex-wife, who remarried into a wealthy family, returns to snatch Xiaoman, claiming "a pauper doesn't deserve to raise a child" and even bribing the media to smear him. Lin Chuan uses the system to live stream his ex-wife's ugly behavior, only to find the immortal viewers enraged—coincidences like "immortal retribution" prank her, and some immortal friends send a "parent-child covenant" to prove his custody. In the end, Lin Chuan not only keeps his daughter but also builds the village into an "Immortal Experience Village," leading villagers to rise from adversity together. And Xiaoman's line, "Dad's live stream is for gods!" becomes the warmest secret.
