Gu Jingshen, a cold-hearted CEO, loses his memory in a plane crash and stumbles into a remote homestay, where he’s rescued by Su Wan, a stunning chef. Once surrounded by assistants, he now finds himself ordered around by Su Wan—carrying manure for vegetables, chasing off troublemakers, and even having his custom suit turned into an apron with “Xiao Wan’s Kitchen” printed on it. For the first time, the ever-controlling CEO feels “dominated.” But when he regains his memory and prepares to take Su Wan back to his wealthy family, Su Wan leaves only a recipe and disappears. It’s not until Gu Jingshen sees her in a high-end gown at a Michelin restaurant that he discovers: the “rural chef” who forced him to drink vegetable porridge is actually a retired top French chef. And the “crash rescue” she’d waited three years for? It was a long-planned “reverse pursuit” all along.
