Lin Wan, the lawyer who dismantled an underground gambling den in the previous season, is forced back into the fight for “a world without gambling” after her sister commits suicide, trapped in a new online gambling scam. She discovers the mastermind behind the gambling ring is the same financial tycoon who framed her father years ago—using “financial management courses” as a cover to lure ordinary people into a vicious cycle of gambling debts and predatory loans. As Lin uses legal expertise to unpack the scam’s false logic and gather evidence to expose the group’s industry chain, she’s falsely accused of “slander” via forged evidence. However, when a mysterious witness—her sister’s former best friend—shows up in court with the group’s core ledger, this battle of “unraveling gambling with the law” culminates in a satisfying moment: the villain’s hysterical collapse as justice delivers a resounding slap in the face.
