Lin Xiu, the eldest disciple of Qingxuan Sect, was punished to polish a rusty sword on the Sword Polishing Cliff for three years—all because he took the blame for his junior brother. Fellow disciples mocked him for falling from 'heaven's favored son' to a 'sword-wiping loser,' and even his crush, Junior Sister Su, avoided him like the plague. Until the Mid-Autumn night of the third year, the rusty sword suddenly glowed with a Dragon God totem and transformed into the 'Dragon God Sword' with intimidating blue light—turns out, this sword was a relic of the Dragon God, waiting three years to recognize him as its master. The next day, the sect's century-old enemy, the Blood Blade Alliance, led a thousand riders to destroy the mountain gate. The sect leader was knocked down with blood, and when Junior Sister Su was threatened by the Blood Blade leader's knife, Lin Xiu stepped down from the cliff. The moment the Dragon God Sword unsheathed, blue light tore through the sky and cut off half the mountain where the Blood Blade Alliance stood! Looking at the stunned disciples, he said softly: 'These three years, I wasn't polishing the sword—I was waiting for the sword to choose me.'
