But as her business booms, troubles pile up: the compartment glitches, causing dizziness with each trip; Shen Mo, a young Song constable, hunts her down, calling her a "demoness stealing fortunes"; modern relic dealers lurk outside her building, ready to rob her. Worse, the compartment warns only three uses remain. On her last trip, she sees A Zhao—the Bianliang embroideress who taught her Song embroidery and the only one who treats her as "Xiaoman" instead of a "cash cow"—being dragged to execution. Clutching a modern mask (to fend off execution ground smoke), Xiaoman must choose: take one last crate of Song porcelain for a million, or use her final trip to save A Zhao?
