Lin Shen, a commercial undercover agent, infiltrates Su Xiaotang’s company as a cold, distant assistant to investigate a corruption case. He plans to gather evidence quietly, but this spoiled young lady takes an instant liking to him—she waits outside his office with a love bento, pretends to fall into his arms, and even declares at a banquet, “This is my man!” while shielding him from alcohol. Lin Shen has to maintain his “uninterested in women” persona while sneaking clues, only to be interrupted by Su’s straightforward advances every time he gets close to secrets: just as he grabs the account books, Su bursts in to fix his tie; when meeting a contact, Su shows up, forcing him to change “drop-off location” to “our dinner spot tonight.” Worse, he learns Su’s arrogance is a front—she’s fighting to protect her grandfather’s business, and the real corrupt one is her uncle… Caught between his mission and growing affection, how will Lin Shen balance the two? When the truth comes out, can they cross the gap of their identities?
