Sheng Wantang, a Sheng family heiress and jewelry designer abroad, is forced to return home after her father is framed for fraud and her uncle seizes the family business. Hiding her former spoiltness, she pretends to be a helpless, fallen lady—using her design talent to infiltrate her uncle’s company’s core while collaborating with mysterious lawyer Gu Chen to gather evidence. She lets her uncle believe she’s obsessed with “dating” Gu Chen, but in reality, she’s setting a trap within a trap. When her uncle announces the takeover of the Sheng family’s last assets at a shareholders’ meeting, Sheng Wantang reveals proof of his money laundering—clearing her father’s name and reclaiming the company. This “soft yet sharp” counterattack shocks everyone who underestimated her, and the heiress’s clever schemes and sassy demeanor steal the show.
