Su Wantang, the eldest daughter of a wealthy family, loses sleep over her sister Su Ruanruan's “husband-克ing fate”. She stumbles into the “Half-Immortal Hall” at the alley and meets Lin Suian, a teenager who claims to be “invincible at fortune-telling”. Lin not only insists he's Ruanruan's “fated savior” but also accurately reveals Ruanruan's 10-year-old secret—she once saved a bullied boy under a peach tree. What shocks Wantang even more is the scar on Lin's wrist, carved with the character “Ruan” (soft) by Ruanruan using glass shards back then! When she yells “fraud” to kick him out, Lin pulls out a yellowed fortune slip: “Ten years ago, I knew your sister's fate was missing me, Lin Suian.” Meanwhile, Ruanruan, hiding behind the door and clutching a peach pendant from a decade ago, stares at Lin with red eyes—the “little crybaby” she's searched for ten years has finally returned.
